Find the right Flock XR project by theme, project type, level, time, world-building skills, programming concepts or curriculum stage. This guide explains what each category means and helps you choose a project that matches what you want to make or learn.
How to find a Flock XR project
Use the filters on the Flock XR projects page to narrow the projects you see. You can combine categories, so you might look for a level 3 game that takes less than an hour and includes repetition, or find projects for a particular curriculum stage that develop 3D world-building skills.
Theme
Find projects based on what topics or themes you are interested in creating, such as games, stories, simulations or interactive 3D experiences.
Type
Choose projects based on the kind of project that you want to build.
Level
Levels show how much experience with Flock XR a learner will need to complete a project.
Level 1 – No previous experience with Flock XR needed.
Level 2 – Some basic Flock XR experience, such as moving around the interface and using the 3D tools.
Level 3 – Beginner projects that bring several skills together.
Level 4 – Intermediate projects with more steps, features and programming.
Level 5 – Advanced projects with more complex code and multiple features working together.
Time
Choose a project based on approximately how long it will take to complete.
World building
Find projects that develop particular 3D design and world-building skills in Flock XR.
Programming
Find projects that use particular programming concepts, such as sequence, if statements, loops, events, variables and functions.
Curriculum stage
Curriculum stages show which projects are suitable for learners at different stages of the Coding 3D Worlds Curriculum.
The curriculum is designed to meet the English National Curriculum for Computing and follows a similar progression to computing curricula internationally.
Projects may be suitable for more than one stage.
